We’ve designed this program for both teens and adult first-time drivers. Our curriculum helps students prepare for road test success in real driving conditions unique to Worcester, MA.Here’s a quick overview of our full program:

  • 30 hours of classroom instruction (live, structured, flexible order)
  • 2 Hour Parent Class (Required if you have not taken already in the past 5 years)
  • 12 hours of behind-the-wheel instructions

This course does not include license testing. However, you’ll be able to include it as an add-on during checkout. If you find that you need more time behind the wheel with one of our certified instructors, additional driving lessons can also be added at any time.

Driver’s License Road Test Options in Worcester

You’ll likely be nervous the day of your road test. At The Next Street, it’s our mission to make your driver testing experience as stress-free as possible. As such, we offer two great options that make taking your driver’s license road test as simple as can be.

Road Test at The Next Street (Worcester Area)

You’ve already spent time at our facility and driving with our cars. Why not take your driver’s license road test at The Next Street, too?

Avoid the crowd and RMV headaches and take your road test in a place you are familiar with. Our TNS test host will be on hand to answer any last-minute questions and ease your worries. We handle all paperwork in advance, and the RMV agent comes to our location for your evaluation.

This offer requires at least one 2-hour driving lesson with us and does not include RMV fees.

Take Your Road Test at the RMV With Our Support

If you prefer to take your road test at a Massachusetts RMV test site, this offer allows us to provide full test-day support at your chosen RMV location. We will schedule your test and meet you there. You will have instructor support on test day and use our vehicle for your driver’s license road test.

This offer requires at least one 2-hour driving lesson with us and does not include RMV fees.

License test appointments at our select locations are released to us by the RMV on a month-by-month basis. You may purchase a license test during enrollment or anytime after in the student portal. Once you have completed all of your requirements and are eligible to test, please contact us to schedule your license test appointment at The Next Street.
